This movie lacks a storyline. Main characters acting due to script missed the mark for me. The fight scenes made no sense. Kong for some reason couldn't fight at all. Then Godzilla couldn't seem to fight Mega-Godzilla. This movie other than the CGI overall was a big let down!

Finally saw it last night! The Good - incredible fight scenes between Kong/Godzilla/Mecha. The Bad - ridiculously stupid sub-plot with kids sneaking into this ultra max security facility like it was nothing and figuring out this super secret plot like it was nothing. They added nothing to the movie. Just a huge annoyance with horrible lines.

This movie wasn’t a fair fight, they purposely made Kong weak. He should’ve been able to break those chains like string like in every other King Kong movie. Also Kong wasn’t the same size/height as Godzilla and they didn’t do enough fight scenes like how Kong should’ve easily been able to lift and throw Godzilla and grab and swing him by the tail showing that Kong has superior physical strength over Godzilla. And Godzilla’s major weakness are his gills and Kong never aims for them and also Kong never uses his teeth.
